Dev Log #007 — The Syndicate Problem

Every crime game needs organizations.

The challenge is creating organizations that feel meaningful rather than simply functioning as glorified chat rooms.

I've spent much of this week brainstorming what syndicates should actually do within Firetorn.

Recruiting members is obvious, but that alone isn't enough.

Syndicates need goals.

They need reasons to compete.

They need reasons to cooperate.

Most importantly, they need reasons to exist beyond simply displaying a shared name.

The exact mechanics are still being planned, but the long-term vision is for syndicates to become one of the most important social features in the game.
