Dev Log #019 — Syndicates Need Real Power

Syndicates have continued to occupy a lot of development thinking.

The more I plan Firetorn, the more obvious it becomes that syndicates cannot simply be cosmetic groups.

If players are going to organize, recruit, compete, and build reputations together, those organizations need real purpose.

This week I began outlining possible syndicate powers, including rank structures, shared goals, territory influence, future conflicts, and internal permissions.

Not all of these systems will exist immediately at launch, but the foundation needs to support them from the beginning.

A strong syndicate system could become one of Firetorn's most important long-term features.
